The residential complex House under the glass is a pre—revolutionary mansion for 30 apartments, built on Ostozhenka Street, 3 / 14 designed by architect V. Dubrovsky in the very center of Moscow — the Golden Mile district. The facade is designed in the style of architecture of the Silver Age and once belonged to the famous landowner Yakov Filatov. The name of the house came from an interesting historical fact: after getting rid of alcohol abuse and correcting his financial affairs, the merchant asked to build a majestic apartment building, and as a sign of victory over a bad habit, he ordered to install a turret in the shape of an inverted shot glass on top of the building.
