Casa de Barcia is a period estate located a short driving distance from the Galician capital of Santiago de Compostela and situated in the hamlet area of La Portela. The estate consists of three dwellings. The main cottage was established in 1840, the tailor's house was established in 1870, and the manor house was established in 1901.
The property has been family owned since the mid-1840s, and was always used for farmland.
The land is divided into the private gardens measuring a total of 3,300 m², the farmland 26,000 m², the woodland 122,000 m², and there are currently three building plots measuring 2,200 m².
