The lodge and chalets are effectively covered under thatched roofs to blend in to the local scenery. The layout of the lodge is made up of a central communal social area and service building surrounded by 5 chalets (one interlink), 3 overlooking the serene Platbosspruit and a further 2 overlooking the mountain and bush beyond.

A covered deck lounge adds to the social appeal and special amenities on site included the marbelite swimming pool and boma. A well planned open area forms a flow of the lounge with a fire place, kitchen/ diner and dining room all which leads to the wide open deck area. In the attic lounge there is a mini library and board games. The dining room can seat 10 people with ease at one sitting. The property is sold furnished and includes a game viewer as well as an utility vehicle. Staff compliment is 4 and covers the positions of Manager, Game Ranger, Maintenance/ Cleaning and Chef, all stay on site. Also on site is a private heli-pad. Gas geysers are used at all buildings and a borehole feeds 40 000L tanks through a filter and softener system. Access water from the borehole feeds the bypassing Platbosspruit. The lodge is surrounded by the Reserve, that is stocked with abundance of wildlife and the local birdlife is extensive which makes the area particularly rewarding destination for ornithologists.
