Architect Olga Freiman made the project, using wood and stone, turning it into a living warm house. The first thing Olga decided to do was to get away from the concrete, where possible, hiding it under a tree. For the pool area and the terrace, a traditional teak was chosen, from its shade and decided to "dance" in other rooms. Tobacco was laid on the floor almost everywhere, which the owner loved very much for its bright texture. The walls were covered with walnut and Japanese apple panels. In order not to turn the house into a wooden box, also for practical reasons, wood was combined with other materials. The same materials are used in non-paraded rooms as in the state mud: tobacco, Japanese apple tree, onyx, etc. Lamps designed by Werner Panton, Fritz Hansen. Basalt was laid on the floor in the kitchen and wine cellar, the walls in the bedroom were finished with slate. In the wine cellar, cabinets are made to order; table and stools, Riva 1920. In some places, as a reminder of the concrete past, the walls were painted with gray paint with a rough texture. The bed, Bizzotto, is the only item in the house about which the opinions of the decorator and the customer have diverged (unlike the armchair designed by Charles and Ray Eames, Vitra, which is equally loved by everyone). On the wall there is slate, on the floor there is a board made of tobacco wood, a painted rough wall imitates concrete. The wealth of textures and materials that appeared in the house pleased the customer, but he wanted more color. So a piercing blue mosaic appeared in the pool, a rich red hood appeared in the kitchen, and a chandelier of the same color appeared in the dining room. The hall with a 25-meter swimming pool is the largest room in the house. All structures are made of teak, the pool is lined with blue glass mosaic, the terrace furniture, Kettal. The dining room is combined with the dining room. Table, Minotti; armchairs, Giorgetti; chandelier, de Majo. The kitchen was visually enlarged due to glossy surfaces, a wooden island with a granite countertop, Riva 1920. But Olga considers the onyx door between the living room and the study to be a special success. With green and brown streaks, it perfectly matches both the floor and the forest outside the window. The boundary between the house and the street is blurred: the forest on the plot turns into a forest on the wallpaper, the teak on the terrace continues with tobacco in the living room. Appliances, Bang & Olufsen; Sofa, Flexform; Chandelier, de Majo; Armchair, Vitra. The middle part of the glass door is covered with onyx. Onyx, or rather, its color, gave the idea of decorating the wall in the living room: they decided to put an image of the forest on it. But not ready-made wallpaper, but a specially created panel. Photographer Valery Bliznyuk went to Solovki, where he took a series of photographs of an amazing tree in shape, which he then combined, printed on a canvas measuring 6×12 m and covered with craquelure varnish. Onyx, tobacco and walnut are used in the bathroom. Fireplace area in the living room with a continuation of the photographic panel by Valery Bliznyuk, the fireplace is made to order; furniture, Minotti.
