The residential complex Profitable house of Ya. A. Babushkin on Pokrovka 29 is a premium project located in a mansion of the late XIX century on one of the famous streets of Moscow. The four-storey building was built in 1897 by architect L. N. Kekushev. The apartment house belonged to a merchant, a native of a peasant family, Yakov Babushkin. In 1902, the house was sold to a philistine A. I. Titov, who planned to increase the profitability of the house and add two additional floors, but the project was not implemented, and the building retained its original appearance.
The complex consists of several buildings connected by stairs. The buildings form several courtyards, differing in area and shape. Courtyards are connected by graceful arches.
